Sujata Academy Village Celebration

Sunim attended Sujata Academy village celebration. The celebration is held every year to give thanks to the village people who have supported the Sujata Academy throughout the years and to foster goodwill and a sense of community in the area.

All the village people from nearby villages as well as donors who donated lands for establishing schools in the area were in attendance at the celebration.

The celebration kicked off with a welcome message from the school principal. Afterward, Sujata Academy students and the villagers put on a performance they had long been preparing for. Students demonstrated dance and Tae Kwon Do, village youth demonstrated acrobatics, and some villagers performed traditional dances and songs.

After all the performances were done, Sunim stepped onto the stage and gave a speech. Sunim recalled the days when the kids were begging in the streets and reminded parents in the audience of the importance of sending kids to school and thanked them for supporting the Sujata Academy.

After the performance, lunch was served to all. Sunim went around and greeted the villagers personally and thanked the ones who had performed the day.
